THE REALLY BIG ONE:  Was the Ash Wednesday quake the Big One?  They tell us no, but it was sure bigger than the first one we experienced in 1998 (see below). . .

LEAVENWORTH VISIT:  If you haven't had a chance to see this lovely Bavarian village, take a moment. . .we hit it on the first "big snow" weekend, which just made the "all dressed up for Christmas" decorations perfect!

WESTMINSTER ABBEY VISIT:  Fall foliage, lovely vistas, quiet reflection.

BILL'S HIKING ADVENTURES:  Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Dickerman, Mt. Pilchuck, Mt. Erie, Mt. Forgotten -- true adventures!

REMEMBERING BOUNCER:  It's been almost five years since Bouncer lost her battle with cancer and was freed of all her ailments.  She is still in our thoughts almost every day -- poor Glacier gets called Bouncer all the time!  Since she was a part of our lives for almost 12 years, we don't feel too guilty.  She will always hold a special place in our hearts as a faithful companion, and we know that missing her doesn't diminish our love for Glacier.
