The summit of Mt. Rainier! It doesn't look too far from where Bill was standing to take the picture, but this was taken from just below Camp Muir (above and to the right), which is at 10,000+ feet (summit is 14,400+ feet).
The weather cooperated for them to make Camp Muir, the base camp (10,000+ feet), which was their goal on this climb. What a wonderful accomplishment!
He has summitted one of the five major peaks -- Glacier Peak -- but we don't know if he will try to conquer the other four: Mt. Baker, Mt. Adams, Mt. Olympus and Mt. Rainier. Whatever he decides to do, he has thoroughly enjoyed all his climbing experiences.
