Found: Wet meadows, bogs, slopes at middle elevations to timber line in Cascades.

About: Also known as Green False Hellebore.

Corn Lily contains high levels of alkaloids and is one of the most violently poisonous plants in the Pacific Northwest.

Northwest tribes were very aware of the potency of this plant and used it to develop various treatments and tonics for many different ailments.

Flower stalks may reach five feet.
