Last year we kicked off the New Year here with some uplifting propaganda from the Pentagon:
"Iran Shielding Its Nuclear Efforts in Maze of Tunnels" - (Jan. 5) - http://www.nytimes.com/2010/01/06/world/middleeast/06sanctions.html?pagewanted=1

This is all very comforting given the recent, enlightening discoveries about Iran via wikileaks, like that they provided extensive aid to Iraqi militias (http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2010-10-23/pentagon-documents-show-u-s-ignored-torture-abuse-reports-guardian-says.html) and that they may have missiles from North Korea. (http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2010-11-29/iran-may-have-missiles-from-north-korea-cables-posted-by-wikileaks-show.html). Of course, this information is rock solid, coming from a "whistleblower" and all. And that's some photo, huh? I had no idea they did photo ops like this for the New York Times. Naturally, that would be in their interest.
Coincidentally, last month was also the projected time for the arrival of the Pentagon's new mega "bunker busters"
(Reuters) - A "bunker buster" bomb with more than 10 times the explosive power of its predecessor will be put into service by the United States next December, six months later than previously scheduled, the U.S. Defense Department told Reuters on Friday. (Dec. 18th) - http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE5BH5IQ20091218?loomia_ow=t0:s0:a49:g43:r1:c1.000000:b30325404:z0
Isn't "change" wonderful?
