We got married at the First United Methodist Church of Bedford, Texas. It rained that day, the caterers for the rehearsal dinner decided to go out of business just before the dinner the night before, a substitute minister took over at the last minute, the Rolls broke down after the ceremony, the reception caterers wouldn't serve our guests till we got there (late), the hotel didn't have the room ready that we reserved for the wedding night, and the rental car we reserved at Boston Airport (to which we arrived at midnight ) had been wrecked, but…..
none of it seemed to bother us.
