http://mathforum.org/mathtools/tool/13056Story: I discovered this tool while looking for a substitute for a graphing calculator. Since it is a free JavaScript, students can access it from home and it can be used in the middle school computer lab. This program comes in several versions, depending on the sophistication of your system. Version 2.2 is the older version which runs on most older browsers. For the most part it operates in a manner similar to a graphing calculator, the main difference is that it does not have data tables.
Where and how I used this: I use this on the weekly assignment page where students are to plot various linear equations and answer questions about them. This is after they have demonstrated proficiency with creating a table of values. It provides them with a tool they might not otherwise have access to.
