For the past few months I have been creating pieces using the small hand-dyed scraps
I have saved over the past twenty years. These bits and small pieces are stitched to a dyed fabric background
and then machine quilted to batting and a fabric backing in the conventional quilting tradition.
The quilts in this series are rich in color and texture. The fabric used is all hand-dyed cotton dyed by the artist.
