For our 40th high school reunion we plan to return to our alma mater neighborhood and celebrate with our classmates, former teachers and friends. The old school ain’t what it used to be and the same can probably be said for us. We may be older, grayer or rounder but we still have Wolverine spirit and that’s what counts.

Our memories of our days at Evergreen are strong and vibrant. It’s yesterday we may have trouble recalling. Regardless, we’d better write down the date, time and place of the grand event.

It’s Saturday, Oct. 10 starting at 5 p.m. at the Glen Acres Country Club in Boulevard Park. That’s less than a 10-minute drive from the high school.
