Mplayer2.reg
This program makes a change in
the Registry to force Mplayer2 to be the default player for .mid files. It
can be used when normal reassociation methods fail to set this as the default.
Instructions for use
Download the program to the
hard disk.
Before using this file you should do the
following: Open REGEDIT, navigate to HKEY Classes Root/.mid. Left
click on .mid to highlight, click on "Registry" and select
"Export Registry File". Select a name for the file (with the .reg
extension) and export it to a file to save as a backup. Then,
delete the .mid registry key. After saving the mplayer2.reg file to the
hard drive, either double-click and OK the merge or, right-click the file,
select "Merge" and OK.
Then either
double-click the filename and OK the merge when prompted or right-click and
select "Merge" when prompted.
