This program sets the value of HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer to 0, reenabling desktop icons.
To use it, download it to the hard disk. Then either double-click the filename and OK the merge when prompted or right-click and select "Merge" when prompted.
