Welcome to Delltalk TWEEKZ
This collection of small, easy-to-use utilities has been assembled from numerous sources on the Internet. Rather than providing links to the original sources, these are gathered together in one place to make it as easy as possible to access them. There are a couple of exceptions--programs which by their size do not lend themselves to inclusion here, and for those, links to the source are provided.
Each of these little programs is designed to fix a small problem easily and quickly. They are, by design, "one-trick ponies" but can often perform tasks in one click which would otherwise require a great deal of effort. Look at the list below to see if there is something in this collection which could be of service to you.
If you find one that is appealing, click on its name and you will be taken to a page with the program's name, a description of its purpose, and brief instructions on its use. You will be able to download the program from that page. Important: Netscape/Mozilla users should not click the file name to download it. Rather, right-click it and select "Save Link Target As" from the context menu.
Users running Norton AntiVirus 2001 or any other antivirus program which offers script blocking should disable that feature prior to running any of the .vbs files. The script blocking feature, which is designed to prevent harmful scripts from running, will block these files. Remember to reenable script blocking after running the program.
These programs all work with Windows 9X
operating systems. Some depend on that registry structure and as a result
will not work properly with Windows XP. Iecache2.js and MSKB have displayed this
problem. Those that are known to work with XP will display
.
Note: The programs included here have been run successfully with no difficulty. However, due to differences in system characteristics users are cautioned to use them at their own risk, and when using programs which modify the Registry should back up the Registry first.
